2. Driver's Wanted, Delivers!

The next time you order a pizza to be delivered to your door, make sure you tip the driver.
Don't be cheap, these guys deserve a big tip!

I just finished watching Driver's Wanted a docu-comedy (a psuedo-documentary-comedy), which chronicles a rag-tag group of pizza delivery drivers. Call them misfits, call them malcontents, call them moaners and complainers, but do call them. And do tip them when they come, they deserve it!

This film is full of merriment and hilarity. You will learn the inside story of pizza delivery drivers in their own words. You will discover the many different styles to deliver pizza. They hold nothing back. Among the many inside tips, you will:

  •  Unlock the secret to the best music to deliver pizza

  •  Attend a secret meeting of "Driver's Anonymous"

  •  Uncover the secret lives of Pizza Delivery Drivers

  •  Attend Pizza Driver Training

You uncover more about the lives of pizza drivers than you thought imaginable. The film is a charming fiasco, as you see pizza being delivered in a new light. Some drivers are cold and opinionated while others are warm  and endearing. All, are very loveable. You have to love anyone who has a passion for pizza. These drivers do have passion.

3.  Taly Mundo: "You Got into an Argument with Peter Reinhart"

My friend Taly Mundo came over to my house the other day for a pizza party. When he arrived I was covered in flour up to my elbows, making pizzas. I smiled and said "hi'.
Big mistake.

The first words out of his mouth were, " Eh, Grande, you really got into it with Peter Reinhart, didn't you. You got into an argument with Peter Reinhart.
Reinhart
really made you look bad!"

"What are you talking about, Taly?"

"On the Legends of Pizza," Taly said. "Peter Reinhart really ranks on you about how much yeast you use in your pizza dough..."

"Come on, Taly, that is not what he said. First of all he said use as much yeast as you need to. Secondly he said if what you are doing is working, there is no need to fix it."

"That's not what I heard" he retorted.

 

I had to reflect. Did I really get into an argument with Peter Reinhart on Legends of Pizza, Volume 1? Is there other controversy on Legends of Pizza, Volume 1?

You will just have to discover for yourself.
